OPS Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

The OPS Administrative Assistant position performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks and is responsible for the daily backup services for the receptionist position. This position’s hours are 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Job Duties Include:

  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Greet, welcome and direct visitors.

  • Answer and route phone calls to the appropriate person through the District’s switchboard.

  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail.

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.

  • Make reservations and travel arrangements.

  • Log in deliveries and notify appropriate staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior administrative experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
  • Valid driver’s license
