Job Summary:
The OPS Administrative Assistant position performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks and is responsible for the daily backup services for the receptionist position. This position’s hours are 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Job Duties Include:
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence.
Greet, welcome and direct visitors.
Answer and route phone calls to the appropriate person through the District’s switchboard.
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
Make reservations and travel arrangements.
Log in deliveries and notify appropriate staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior administrative experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
- Valid driver’s license
